Research and products for the built environment

Buildings are the world’s largest asset class. Aedifice builds research and products that make them measurable, compliant, and operable for the owners, operators, and firms responsible for them.

Featured work

The Woolworth Building

1913 Cass Gilbert · National Historic Landmark · 792 feet of Gothic terracotta and limestone

I served as steward of the Woolworth Building facade restoration. The work, carried out under FacadeMD, ran across fifty-seven scaffold drops, LPC coordination, and DOB filings on one of America’s most significant landmarks. Every stone documented. Every filing on record. Featured in The Architect’s Newspaper, November 2025.

The product encodes what that work required: the institutional discipline to steward a landmark across decades, applied across the built environment it serves.

At Aedifice, we build research and products for the long life of the built environment. Buildings outlive the owners, operators, and engineers who work on them. Their institutional memory should too.
